Since July 2016, Davide Zoppolato has been a Research Associate and Project Manager at gLAWcal –Global Law Initiatives for Sustainable Development (United Kingdom) working on Chinese law and politics.

Davide Giacomo Zoppolato, since November 2019, is a PhD candidate in Global Studies: Justice, Rights and Politics at the University of Macerata, Italy. Since July 2016, Davide Zoppolato has been a Research Associate and Project Manager at gLAWcal –Global Law Initiatives for Sustainable Development (United Kingdom) working on Chinese law and politics. Mr. Zoppolato was visiting research fellow in China (Beijing Normal University 2017 and Beijing Foreign Studies University 2018)and in the US (West Virginia University 2019). In 2016-2017 he was EU Commission Marie Curie Fellow Scholar at Beijing Normal University for the  project ‘Partnering Opportunities Between Europe China in the Renewable Energies and Environmental Industries’ (POREEN). InJ une 2016, he obtained his combined J.D./LL.M. at Faculty of Law, University ofTurin, Italy. Since January 2015, he has been one of the founding members and editor of Global Politics Review (http://www.globalpoliticsreview.com/). He spent more than four years in China to study Chinese language, law and politics(Chengdu University, East China Normal University, Tianjin University, Beijing Foreign Studies University). His main research areas of interest are Chinese Law and politics, International Economic Law and Global Administrative Law. Italian native speaker, he is fluent in English, Chinese and French.
